Viega Bronze Extension Fitting 1/2", 50 mm, Female x Male Thread, Art. 355012

Viega extension fitting 1/2″ (model 3525, Art. 355012) lengthens a half-inch threaded connection by 50 mm. Its R 1/2 male end goes into the female outlet already on the line, and the Rp 1/2 female end at the front receives the tap or valve.

The body is bronze, and both threads follow DIN EN 10226-1. Viega knurls the R thread at the factory, so hemp holds on it without roughening. The fitting is turned by an internal polygon with a 12 mm spanner size; Viega states an overall length of 66 mm and marks the Rp thread of this article as shortenable.

It is intended for drinking-water, heating and gas installations, and Art. 355012 is listed on DVGW certificates DV-7401AO2957 and DV-7421CS0446, the second of which covers Viega tap extensions.
