Description

The VIEGA Sanpress Inox pipe (model 2205, article 807375) is a 22 x 1.2 mm stainless steel tube supplied in 6 m lengths, made from grade 1.4521 (AISI 444) stainless steel with a PRE (pitting resistance) value of 24.1, above the minimum industry benchmark for corrosion resistance.

The pipe is produced by laser welding, which gives a narrow, consistent weld seam, and each length ships with protective end caps. It’s designed to be cut to size on site and joined with Sanpress Inox press fittings to build potable water, heating, rainwater, compressed-air or industrial pipe runs.

For potable water use, Viega rates this pipe up to 85 °C at a working pressure of up to 1.6 MPa (16 bar).
