VIEGA Sanpress Inox Union Connector 22 mm x G3/4, Stainless Steel, Press x Thread, Art. 437619

Viega Sanpress Inox union connector 22 mm x G3/4 (model 2363, Art. 437619) links stainless steel pipe to a valve or appliance with a male thread: the press end forms a permanent joint, while the union nut can be undone without cutting the pipe.

The body is stainless steel 1.4401 and the union nut is brass. The press end has an EPDM sealing element and SC-Contur: a joint left unpressed by mistake leaks visibly when the system is filled. On the threaded side, the supplied EPDM flat gasket makes the seal.

It is made for Viega stainless steel pipe in grades 1.4401 and 1.4521, in drinking-water, heating and compressed-air lines. The Sanpress Inox system is rated for 16 bar, up to 80 °C in drinking water and 105 °C in heating. It holds DVGW approval; VdS approval applies only with 1.4521 pipe.
