VIEGA Sanpress Inox Elbow 45°, 22 mm, Stainless Steel, Press Connection, Art. 435790

Viega Sanpress Inox press elbow 45°, 22 mm (model 2326, Art. 435790) sits between two lengths of stainless steel pipe of the same diameter and gently changes the direction of the line. Both ends are press connections, so each pipe is pushed in and pressed directly, with no adapter.

The fitting is made of stainless steel 1.4401 and has an EPDM sealing element in each press end. During pressing, the force acts both in front of and behind the seat of the sealing element. Thanks to Viega’s SC-Contur, a joint overlooked during installation leaks noticeably as soon as the system is filled.

In drinking-water, heating and compressed-air installations the permissible operating pressure of the Sanpress Inox system is 16 bar, and the temperature limit is 80 °C for drinking water and 105 °C for heating.
