Description

The VIEGA Smartpress wall plate (model 6725.5, article 729479) is a mounting fitting with a 16 mm press connection on one side for Smartpress composite pipe and a 1/2″ internal thread on the other, fixed to a wall stud or backing board through its mounting ears.

It’s made from gunmetal (bronze) and carries SC-Contur on the press side, so an unpressed connection shows up as a visible leak once the system is filled for testing.

It’s used to create a fixed, wall-anchored connection point for a tap, mixer, or angle valve that’s fed from a Smartpress composite pipe run.
