Viega Sanpress Inox press elbow 45°, 15 mm (model 2326.1, Art. 435387) is the smallest size of this model. At one end, 15 mm pipe is pressed into a press connection; at the other, a plug-in end (spigot) goes into the press socket of another fitting instead of onto pipe.

The elbow is produced in stainless steel 1.4401. Viega marks press ends with a green dot; here the press end contains the single EPDM sealing element and SC-Contur, which makes an accidentally unpressed joint show up as a leak when the system is filled. The joint at the plug-in end is sealed by the receiving socket.

The elbow serves drinking-water, heating and compressed-air lines. Viega allows drinking-water installations up to 80 °C and heating systems up to 105 °C, in both cases at up to 16 bar; the system holds DVGW approval. If the line has to bend through a right angle, choose the 15 mm right-angle elbow with a plug-in end. Press tools and pipe are not included; you will find the other parts of the system under press fittings.
