VIEGA Sanpress Inox Tee 28 x 1/2″ x 28 mm, Stainless Steel, Press x Female Thread, Art. 437190

Viega Sanpress Inox press tee 28×28 mm x Rp1/2 (model 2317.2, Art. 437190) takes a threaded branch off a stainless steel line. Both run ends are press connections, while the side outlet has a female thread into which a valve, pressure gauge or sensor with a matching male thread screws.

The tee is stainless steel 1.4401. Each press end holds an EPDM sealing element, and thanks to SC-Contur a joint left unpressed by mistake leaks during filling. The fitting has spanner flats, so you can hold the tee with a spanner while a part is screwed into the branch.

It takes Viega 28 mm system pipe in drinking-water, heating and compressed-air lines. The system is designed for 16 bar, and Viega gives maximum operating temperatures of 80 °C in drinking water and 105 °C in heating. The tee is DVGW and VdS approved, with VdS applying only in combination with 1.4521 pipe. A press tool and jaw do not come with it.
