How is the 32 mm jaw placed on the connector?

First push the pipe into the press connector until its end is visible in the inspection window, and check the insertion depth there. Then open the 32 mm jaw, place it on the connector at a right angle and carry out the pressing, keeping to the spacing given in Viega's instructions. The Pexfit Pro instructions add that a fold in the press sleeve after pressing means a faulty joint: replace the connection and check the press tool.
