Viega Press Ring 76.1 mm, Art. 562878

Viega press ring 76.1 mm (model 2497.2XL, Art. 562878) is a phosphatised steel ring for making XL press joints on 76.1 mm pipe. Viega specifies it for the following systems:

• Sanpress Inox XL
• Sanpress Inox G XL
• Prestabo XL
• Temponox XL
• Profipress XL in copper

For pressing, the ring is closed with the Z2 hinged adapter jaw (model 2296.2, Art. 472 740). The jaw is an article in its own right and runs on PT2 machines, for example the Viega Pressgun 6, 4B and 4E, the PT3-H/EH and the Geberit/Novopress and Ridgid models found in the specification table. According to Viega, this ring is not suitable for Sanpress XL in gunmetal or Megapress XL, so before pressing, make sure the fittings belong to one of the systems listed above.
