Viega Profipress Press Coupling 42×42 mm, Copper, Press, Art. 292713

Viega Profipress press coupling 42×42 mm (model 2415, Art. 292713) joins two copper pipes of the same 42 mm outside diameter in a straight line. Use it to extend a run or to connect two pipe sections.

The coupling is made of Cu-DHP copper. Its press ends hold factory-fitted EPDM sealing elements, which Viega names as the only type approved for drinking water. SC-Contur, a safety mechanism certified by the DVGW, ensures that a joint left unpressed leaks during the leak test.

The coupling is intended for copper pipe to DIN EN 1057 in drinking-water, heating and compressed-air lines and holds DVGW approval. Profipress is designed for 16 bar, with upper temperatures of 80 °C in drinking water and 105 °C in heating.
