The VIEGA Sanpress Inox adapter (model 2311, article 436445) transitions a 15 mm Sanpress Inox press connection to a 1/2″ male (R) thread with a polygonal wrench flat, letting the stainless steel pipe run terminate at a threaded fixture, valve or appliance connection.

It carries SC-Contur, so a press joint that hasn’t been properly pressed shows up as a visible leak as soon as the system is filled for testing.

It’s a common way to bring a small-diameter Sanpress Inox branch out to a standard 1/2″ male-threaded connection point, such as a tap or appliance stub.
