Viega Fonterra PE-RT pipe 16×2.0 mm (model 1403, Art. 678975) is a pipe of the Viega Fonterra surface heating system, used to lay underfloor heating circuits. Viega makes this article as a 240 m coil.

The base pipe is polyethylene of raised temperature (PE-RT) to DIN EN ISO 22391, and the pipe is oxygen-tight to DIN 4726, which means its wall limits the oxygen that can enter the heating water. According to Viega, the maximum operating temperature is 70 °C, and the pressure rating is 6 bar in application class 4 of ISO 22391-1. The pipe is natural in colour.

Join it with the press or compression connectors that Viega approves for Fonterra pipes, such as couplings or connection fittings for heating-circuit manifolds, for example the Fonterra coupling model 1223 in size d16.
