Description

The VIEGA Smartpress (Pexfit Pro) composite pipe (model 4705.5, article 751401) is a 16 x 2.0 mm multilayer pipe built from an inner and outer PE-Xc layer around a central aluminium layer, giving it the flexibility of plastic pipe with the shape-stability and low expansion of metal.

It comes factory-fitted with 6 mm of circular thermal insulation (lambda 0.040 W/mK) under a red protective PE film, so it’s ready to install without a separate insulating step. The red jacket is a standard colour marker for heating flow lines.

It’s rated for potable water and heating installations, supplied capped and ready to cut to length, and is designed to connect with Viega’s Smartpress/Pexfit Pro press-fitting range.
