Viega Brass Cap / Plug 3/4", Female Thread, Art. 266653

Viega cap 3/4″ (model 3301, Art. 266653) is the closing piece for a male-threaded end on 3/4″ screwed pipework. It fits over the end with its Rp 3/4 female thread and so seals the pipe from the outside, whereas a plug closes a female opening from within.

The brass body is 21 mm long, and Viega gives a spanner size of 30 mm for its polygonal grip. The Rp thread is parallel to EN 10226-1 and takes a tapered R male thread, so the joint seals in the thread itself. Viega names hemp with sealing paste, PTFE thread tape and thread-sealing cord as the permitted sealants.
