Viega Advantix Drain Grate 120 cm, Polished Stainless Steel, Art. 686291

Viega Advantix Vario standing grate 120 cm (model 4965.31, Art. 686291) is the visible cover of a Vario shower channel: a polished stainless steel bar that stands on a holder in the channel and is cut to the channel’s length where needed.

The grate is stainless steel 1.4301 in the Visign SR2 design with a polished finish. It comes 1200 mm long for channels from 300 up to 1200 mm; if it has to be shortened, Viega specifies a hand saw followed by deburring and rules out cutting with a cutting disc (angle grinder). The set also contains adjusting screws, a grate support, a sieve insert, cover caps and the standing grate holder.

Viega rates the grate to load class K 3 (300 kg) under DIN EN 1253-2. It may only be fitted in the base units of Advantix Vario shower channels 4965.10 and 4966.10, and the base unit itself is not part of this set.
