Viega Advantix Cleviva shower channel 80 cm (model 4981.11, Art. 794491) is a linear drain with a brushed stainless steel profile and the Advantix Visign C1 inlay. Viega lists this version as a renovation model: its installation height is 70-155 mm, and the drain connection is DN 40/50.

The profile is stainless steel 1.4301, while the odour trap is plastic and holds a 25 mm water seal. The channel comes as a complete set: profile, inlay, odour trap, mounting flange, a sealing collar fitted at the factory, a height adjustment piece, drain pipe, sieve insert and fixing set. If you need a shorter channel, the profile can be cut down with millimetre precision to a length of 300 mm.

Viega warns that in this model the connection pipe sits high, so there is not enough room for an adequate screed layer above it; allow for the tile size or an epoxy resin filling at the planning stage. The connection accepts DN 40 or DN 50 drain pipe and leaves the odour trap horizontally.
