Viega Smartpress Press Jaw 20 mm, Art. 425326

Viega Smartpress press jaw 20 mm (model 2799.7, Art. 425326) is used to press d 20 mm press connectors in the two plastic piping systems for which Viega marks this size: Viega Smartpress and Viega Pexfit Pro. During installation the pipe is pushed into the connector until its end appears in the inspection window; the opened jaw is then set on the connector at a right angle, and the machine carries out the pressing.

The jaw’s material is phosphatised steel. It comes as a single piece and works only together with a press machine, which is not included; Viega’s Smartpress instructions specify a machine with constant pressing force for this.

Viega recommends the jaw for its own Pressgun, PT3 and type 2 (PT2) machines and for selected Geberit/Novopress and Ridgid models, all of them named in the specifications.
