Description

The VIEGA Rotguss elbow (model 3092, article 264000) makes a 90° turn in a 3/4″ threaded pipe run, with an external (R) thread on one side and an internal (Rp) thread on the other, so it steps between a male- and female-threaded connection at the same time as changing direction.

It’s made from Rotguss, a corrosion-resistant copper-tin-zinc casting alloy commonly marketed as gunmetal or red brass, threaded to DIN EN 10226-1.

Threaded gunmetal fittings like this one are typically used to tie into older threaded pipework, or wherever a screwed rather than pressed or soldered joint is preferred.
