Description

The VIEGA Rotguss tee (model 3130, article 264222) branches a 1/2″ threaded pipe run into a second 1/2″ outlet, with an internal (Rp) thread on all three ports, so male-threaded pipe or fittings screw in on each side.

It’s made from Rotguss, a corrosion-resistant copper-tin-zinc casting alloy commonly marketed as gunmetal or red brass, and is approved for both potable water installations and gas installations, and is UBA-listed for drinking water.

It’s a standard way to take a same-size branch off a 1/2″ threaded distribution line.
