The VIEGA Rotguss elbow (model 3091, article 317973) makes a 90° turn in a 1/2″ threaded pipe run, with an external (R) thread on both ends, so it screws directly into two female-threaded fittings, valves, or appliances.

It’s made from Rotguss, a corrosion-resistant copper-tin-zinc casting alloy commonly marketed as gunmetal or red brass, threaded to DIN EN 10226-1.

It’s assembled with common hand tools and standard jointing compound or PTFE tape rather than press or solder equipment, making it a straightforward way to change direction between two female-threaded connections.
