Effebi Aster Ball Valve 1 1/2", T-Handle, Brass, Female Thread, Art. 0887P408

Effebi Aster ISOL T ball valve 1 1/2″ (Art. 0887P408) shuts off DN 40 pipework and has a G 1 1/2 female thread on either end. Its ISOL T handle is condensation-proof and does not drip: this is the handle Effebi fits to the female-by-female Aster valve for insulated HVAC lines.

Effebi lists PN 40 for this valve, that is 40 bar, with fluids from −15 to 110 °C, and names heating, cooling and drinking water as applications. The body is CW617N brass, nickel-plated outside and plain brass inside; PTFE seats hold the ball, while an HNBR O-ring seals the stem from above and a peroxide-cured EPDM O-ring from below.

The handle material is polyamide PA6 filled with 30% glass fibre and reinforced inside with steel; the valve comes with three replaceable caps in green, blue and red.
