Description
Effebi Aster ISOL T 3/4″ ball valve (Art. 0887P405) closes a DN 20 line through two G 3/4 female threads, and its handle is built to stay dry on insulated pipework. Effebi assembles art. 0887P from the female-by-female Aster valve and the ISOL T handle.
In Effebi’s description the handle is condensation-proof and drip-free, intended for HVAC systems where pipes need thermal protection and insulation. It is made of polyamide PA6 with 30% glass fibre and an internal steel reinforcement, and three replaceable caps in green, blue and red are included. The body is CW617N brass, nickel-plated outside and plain inside; the ball turns in PTFE seats, and the stem is sealed by an HNBR O-ring above and a peroxide-cured EPDM O-ring below.
The maker rates the valve PN 40, meaning 40 bar, for fluids between −15 and 110 °C, and the specification names heating, cooling and drinking water. The threads follow ISO 228-1, a parallel standard, so seal each joint with a gasket or a suitable thread sealant. If your 3/4″ line calls for a different handle or end, the other ball valve designs we stock give you more to choose from.
