Viega Bronze Adapter Fitting 3/4" x 1/2", Male Thread, Art. 266523

Viega bronze adapter fitting 3/4″ x 1/2″ (model 3245, Art. 266523) is a transition piece with a male thread on both sides: the R 3/4 end screws into a 3/4″ female outlet, and a valve or fitting with a 1/2″ female thread screws onto the R 1/2 end. Viega calls this part a reducing nipple.

The fitting is bronze and 37 mm long overall, and it is tightened with a 27 mm spanner. Both threads are tapered R threads to EN 10226-1, so the joint seals on the thread itself.
