Steinberg Serie 100 Wall-Mounted Basin Mixer Chrome, Art. 100 1814 3

Steinberg Serie 100 wall-mounted basin mixer in Chrome (Art. 100 1814 3) is the visible finishing set of a concealed single-lever mixer: the lever and the spout are fixed to the wall above the basin, so the basin or worktop needs no tap hole. The spout projects 195 mm from the wall, and one lever controls both the flow and the temperature.

The set is made of brass with a chrome finish. The lever and the spout sit on two separate wall rosettes, the spout has a concealed aerator, and Steinberg specifies a ceramic cartridge for the mixer. The set comes without a drain fitting, so choose a basin waste separately.

The set is designed for Steinberg’s concealed body 010 1800 3, which is not included and must be ordered separately; according to Steinberg, that body has a waterproof mounting box and a soundproofing mat. According to the maker, the mixer is also suitable for use with instantaneous water heaters. The wide choice of bathroom mixers in our shop also covers other wall and deck models, while the page devoted to Steinberg bathroom fittings brings together the rest of the maker’s range.

For everyday cleaning, Steinberg recommends water and a neutral soap, after which the surface should be dried with a soft towel. If you use a cleaning product, apply it with a soft cloth instead of spraying it directly onto the chrome.
