Steinberg Serie 250 floor-standing bath mixer in Brushed Gold (Art. 250 1162 BG) stands beside the bath and fills it through a swivel spout with a projection of 153 mm. A diverter sends the water either to the spout or to the hand shower supplied with the mixer.

Brass is the base material, and the surface is finished in Brushed Gold. It is a classic, manually operated two-handle design: each handle controls its own 90° ceramic valve, and as there is no thermostat, you set the temperature yourself. Steinberg describes the mixer as intrinsically safe against backflow.

The mixer needs Steinberg’s floor rough-in body 010 1160, which the set does not include and which you order separately; the mixer connects to it with two G 1/2 connections. The body goes into the floor before the final floor covering is laid, so plan its position together with the bath and your installer. Steinberg’s installation notes ask for the supply lines to be flushed thoroughly before the mixer is fitted, in line with DIN EN 1717 and DIN EN 806-4, and for a pressure reducer to be fitted in the main supply line if the water pressure is above 5 bar.
