Effebi Aster Ball Valve 1", T-Handle, Brass, Female Thread, Art. 0887P406

Effebi Aster 1″ ISOL T ball valve (Art. 0887P406) gives insulated heating and cooling pipework a DN 25 shut-off with a handle that does not drip. It has a G 1 female thread on each side and is the female-by-female Aster valve with Effebi’s ISOL T handle mounted on it.

Inside, the ball is held between PTFE seats, and the stem carries an HNBR O-ring on top and a peroxide-cured EPDM O-ring beneath. The body and threaded ends are CW617N brass, nickel-plated outside and left plain inside. The T-handle, which Effebi describes as condensation-proof, is polyamide PA6 with 30% glass fibre and an internal steel reinforcement; green, blue and red replaceable caps are supplied with it.

Effebi intends the ISOL T handle for HVAC systems where pipes must be thermally protected and insulated, and states PN 40 (40 bar) and −15 to 110 °C for fluids. Heating, cooling and drinking water are the listed applications, and both female threads are parallel ones to ISO 228-1.
