The bore is full. Effebi lists a full bore for the Collettore A, a feature carried over from the Aster series, so the passage through this DN 20 valve does not narrow the way it does in a standard-bore design. That matters at a manifold outlet, where you do not want an extra restriction in the flow.

The Collettore A carries a PN 40 rating, so fluids may be under up to 40 bar, and Effebi allows fluid temperatures between −15 and 110 °C. Effebi publishes these limits for the Collettore A as a series, so they apply to the 3/4" size as well.

For heating water, yes: Effebi recommends the Collettore A for heating installations with manifold sets, within its 110 °C limit. For drinking water, Effebi describes the internal surfaces as nickel-free. The data sheet gives no rating for gas, as its limits are stated for fluids only, so use a valve the maker approves for gas on a gas line.

It lets you remove the valve without turning the connected pipe or manifold. The 3/4" male-threaded tail stays screwed in place while the union nut holds it against the valve body; once the nut is undone, the valve comes away for servicing or replacement.
