Viega Smartpress press wall-plate elbow 16 mm x 1/2″ (model 6723, Art. 750152) is a Viega mounting unit: a short gunmetal elbow with a 16 mm press connection and an Rp1/2 female thread, fixed to a galvanised steel holder.

The elbow material is gunmetal of Rotguss grade. The press end is O-ring-free and has SC-Contur: if a joint is missed during pressing, it leaks visibly when the system is filled with water.

The unit is made for Viega’s 16 mm pipes from the Smartpress, Pexfit Pro and Pexfit Fosta systems. For drinking-water and heating installations Viega gives Smartpress a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar and temperature limits of 70 °C in drinking water and 80 °C in heating. Viega lists only the holder and the short elbow as components, so choose fixing screws and the press tool separately.
