S.R. Rubinetterie Planet Radiator Angle Thermostatic Valve 1/2", Chrome, Brass, Art. 0239-1500C0P0

S.R. Rubinetterie Planet angle radiator valve 1/2″ (Art. 0239-1500C0P0) is a manual valve that you can later convert to thermostatic control, made for heating systems in copper or multilayer pipe. It joins the radiator through a 1/2″ male tailpiece and the pipe through the Italian-standard 24×19 connection, and its finish is chrome.

The body is pressed brass CW617N, and a pre-setting device is built into the valve. Converting it is simple: the handwheel comes off and a thermostatic head takes its place, and S.R. lists its own N093 Domus and N094 Aria heads as accessories. With a head fitted, the lowest temperature that can be set is 7 °C. Should the valve stem ever leak, its seals can be replaced without draining the system. As working media, S.R. permits water and antifreeze solutions with up to 30% glycol, at no more than 10 bar and 100 °C.

The valve comes with a self-sealing tailpiece, while the thermostatic head, the return valve and the 24×19 pipe fitting are sold separately; for the fitting, S.R. offers Art. 0481 for copper pipe and Art. 0483 for multilayer pipe.
