Viega multilayer pipe 32×3.2 mm (model 4705.6, Art. 784812) comes with red factory insulation and serves the 32 mm lines of drinking-water and heating installations assembled with Smartpress or Pexfit Pro press connectors. Viega makes the article as a 25 m coil, while the sale unit in our shop is the metre.

Its wall has three layers: a PE-Xc inliner, an aluminium layer and a PE-Xc outer case. Viega regards it as a dimensionally stable pipe with an oxygen barrier layer in the wall. Around the pipe sits 9 mm of red insulation with a PE protective cover, and in sanitary and heating systems an operating pressure of up to 10 bar is permitted.

The pipe is joined with 32 mm Viega Smartpress or Pexfit Pro press connectors, while Viega rules out installing Pexfit Pro pipe with the old Pexfit Fosta connectors. Connectors and press tools are sold separately. The system is for installation inside buildings only, so do not leave the pipe in permanent UV light.
