Energoflex Super Protect pipe insulation 35/6 mm (Art. EFXT035062SUPRS) is the blue-coated tube for 35 mm pipes, made of polyethylene foam 6 mm thick. It comes in straight 2 m lengths for pipes that run inside floors and walls.

The blue surface is a durable polymer coating applied over the foam. Energoflex states that the polyethylene foam layer compensates for the thermal expansion of the pipe, and declares a thermal conductivity of 0.038 W/(m·K) at 10 °C for this series.

Energoflex designed Super Protect for heating and water-supply pipework in floor and wall constructions. Where two tubes meet, the guide has you glue the butt ends with Energopro contact adhesive and stick reinforced self-adhesive tape in blue over the joint; both accessories are separate articles, not part of this one.
