STOUT Spring Check Valve 1/2", Brass, Female Thread, Art. SVC-0012-000015

STOUT spring check valve 1/2″ (Art. SVC-0012-000015) stops reverse flow in a pipeline: it passes the medium in one direction only, marked by an arrow on the body. Both ends carry a G 1/2 female thread to ISO 228-1, so the valve screws straight onto a male-threaded pipe end or fitting of the same size.

Water pressure compresses the spring and opens the closing mechanism, while reverse flow is blocked. The body and the coupling with the seat are CW617N brass, the stem and the disc are made of polymer, and the seal is NBR. For the 1/2″ size STOUT states PN 12 (12 bar) as the nominal pressure and -20 to +110 °C without steam formation as the operating range; the Kvs is 4.22 m³/h.

STOUT specifies water or a water-glycol solution of up to 30 % as the medium, and the valve is intended for heating circuits. If the liquid contains impurities, fit a filter ahead of the valve to protect the seal.
