STOUT Low-Loss Header 1 1/2", without Pump, Art. SDG-0015-004001

STOUT low-loss header (Art. SDG-0015-004001) is a hydraulic separator with four G 1 1/2 connections, placed between the boiler circuit and the heating circuits it supplies. It keeps the pressure difference between the circuits to a minimum, so one or more of them can be switched off without changing the pressure in the others. The header is supplied without a pump.

The header is a vessel with four branches: two on one side for the primary (boiler) circuit and two on the other for the secondary heating circuits. Its body is S235 steel, the plugs are brass CW614N and the gaskets are EPDM. STOUT intends it for heating systems in buildings with their own boiler, where it stabilises the operation of the boiler.

Every circuit connected to the header needs its own circulation pump. The header is selected by the maximum heat-carrier flow it can pass, which STOUT gives as 3 m³/h for this model. Do not use lever pipe wrenches on it, and test the joints for tightness after installation. Other boiler-room components are in our range of pump groups and low-loss headers.
