The two ends of the run are both 25 mm, so the line does not narrow inside the tee.<\/p>\n<p>The tee is made of stainless steel 1.4401 and is pressed without O-rings. All three ends carry SC-Contur: if you miss one while pressing, that joint leaks in the leak test. The stainless steel must not touch building materials or mortar that contain chloride.<\/p>\n<p>Viega Smartpress, Pexfit Pro or Pexfit Fosta pipe is pressed into the 25 mm and 20 mm ends, and the tee suits drinking-water, heating and compressed-air lines. Smartpress has a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar, and the temperature may reach 70 \u00b0C in drinking water and 80 \u00b0C in heating.
