Both ends are press connections: a length of 15 mm pipe goes into each side up to the marked insertion depth and is then pressed.<\/p>\n<p>The elbow is stainless steel 1.4401, with a factory-fitted EPDM sealing element in both press ends. Its SC-Contur, certified by the DVGW, makes a joint accidentally left unpressed leak during the leak test, so the fault shows up before the line goes into service.<\/p>\n<p>It fits Viega system pipe in grade 1.4401 or 1.4521 in drinking-water, heating and compressed-air lines, and it carries DVGW approval. The Sanpress Inox system is designed for 16 bar, up to 80 \u00b0C in drinking water and up to 105 \u00b0C in heating.
