Neither. Steinberg's drawing shows no tap hole, only the central waste opening, and the maker describes the basin as having no overflow. So plan the mixer on the worktop or the wall, and remember that if the waste is closed and the mixer is left running, water will spill over the rim.

As this 60×40 cm basin stands on the worktop and has no tap hole, choose a tall basin mixer fixed on the worktop beside it, or a wall-mounted mixer with a concealed body. What matters is that the aerator sits above the rim and the jet falls over the waste.

Steinberg recommends a soft cloth or sponge with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner for regular cleaning. Avoid abrasive, acidic or chlorine-based products, and rinse off any residue of hair dye, nail polish remover or drain cleaner straight away with warm water.

According to Steinberg, minor scratches and dull spots on polyresin can be polished out, so light wear does not mean the basin has to be replaced. For deeper damage, contact us before you treat the surface.
