Viega Steptec Mounting Channel 5000x40x40 mm, Galvanised Steel, Art. 471781

Viega Steptec mounting channel 5000x40x40 mm (model 8401, Art. 471781) is a galvanised steel rail for Viega’s part-height or room-height pre-wall and partition constructions. Viega now lists the same model as the Prevista Dry Plus mounting rail, and one piece is a single rail 5 m long.

The channel is open on one side and has slotted holes pre-punched every 30 cm along its whole length, for fixing to the wall, the floor or the ceiling. Viega recommends its Prevista Dry Plus punch for working the rail: the tool shortens or punches it at any point and leaves no burrs on the cut.
